Both can help with mental health—but they do different things. A therapist helps you talk things through. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor trained to diagnose and treat mental illness, including adjusting medications when needed. If you’re dealing with deeper issues like severe anxiety, sleep problems, depression, or you're trying to get off or manage medication, a psychiatrist can guide you through the medical side while still seeing the whole person and talking through problems with good counsel.Do you accept insurance?
Like many other cash fee-for-service private psychiatry offices, we are NOT participating in insurances and are out of network. We can provide documentation for you to file your own claims for reimbursement from insurance, but results are not guaranteed.Do you provide Tele-health appointments?
